Coach Cory Pierce is a 2nd generation surfer who began surfing at age 10, surfing contests at 11 & competed in his first US Amateur Surfing Championships at age 12. After competing internationally on the US National Team, Cory stepped into the pro's at age 17.
In 1995 Cory joined the US Coast Guard & served his country for 4 years as a Rescue Swimmer, learning life saving & rescue techniques. He has been first aid & CPR qualified since 1993.
Cory pushed his son, Jonah, into his first wave at 4 months old! Today, Jonah has become a well-established professional surfer through the coaching of his father.
Cory began running the surf school in 2010 and enjoys meeting new people and spreading his love and knowledge of surfing through surf lessons.

Next Level Surf School began operations in 2010, and is owned and operated by professional surfer, Cory Pierce.
Incorporated with the fun & excitement of learning to surf, we also teach ocean safety, environmental & ecological awareness & the importance of surfing etiquette.
We specialize in teaching people of all ages & all levels. Whether you're stepping into the ocean for the first time, getting prepared for your first competition, or training for a career in pro surfing; we have you covered!!!

One-on-one private surf lessons - $125 per 1.5 hour session
Group Surf Lesson/Coaching

Group surf lessons or coaching (2-4 students) $125, per student, per 1.5 hour session

Cancellation Policy
Thank you for choosing Next Level Surf School! Please review our refund policies below:
Note: All reservation changes or cancellations must be made in writing to Cory@NextLevelSurfSchool.com.
Cancellations or changes need to be made at least 24 hours prior to the lesson. Please provide a written request for any cancelations or changes. Any cancellations or changes made 24 hours prior to the lesson receive a $25 reprocessing fee. Cancellations or no shows will not receive a refund or a credit and will be required to pay full agreed upon charge.
Traffic throughout Southern California can be very unpredictable so expect delays. Please plan accordingly, especially if you are driving from the LA area. We do not grant refunds or reschedule lessons for any late arrivals.
Private / Semi-Private / Group classes: Please check in 15 minutes prior to your lesson.
Participants under the age of 18 will need to make sure a legal guardian is present to sign a liability form. Online waivers are also provided if a guardian will not be in attendance.
Parking can be extremely challenging especially on the weekend. Please allow a minimum of 30 minutes to find a parking spot. On the day of your lesson bring a comfortable bathing suit, towel, sunscreen and a water bottle. Wetsuits and surfboards will be provided by the surf school. Wetsuits may not be available depending on size and availability. Wetsuit rentals are available at many local surf shops. Please provide height and weight of participants at the time the reservation is made to ensure wetsuit availability.

- YOUR USE OF A GIFT CERTIFICATE CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS:
- TREAT GIFT CERTIFICATES AS CASH. GIFT CERTIFICATES WILL NOT BE REPLACED IF LOST OR STOLEN. GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE REDEEMABLE FOR SERVICES ONLY. REDEEMABLE AT NEXT LEVEL SURF SCHOOL. VALID FOR ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
- FOR GIFT CERTIFICATE TERMS AND EXPIRATION DATE, PRESENT THE GIFT CERTIFICATE AT NEXT LEVEL SURF SCHOOL. GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE PROPERTY OF THE ISSUER.
- THE GIFT CERTIFICATE MAY BE APPLIED TOWARD ANY PURCHASE MADE AT NEXT LEVEL SURF SCHOOL. GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE NOT EXCHANGEABLE FOR CASH OR REPLACED IF LOST OR STOLEN. AFTER 1 YEAR OF NON-USE, A $2.00 PER MONTH FEE WILL BE CHARGED.
